Danielle Burnett is your full-time Ellis Elementary School Counselor and Kalene Scott is your part-time School Counselor and we are excited to be supporting Ellis for the 2019-2020 school year! As School Counselors, our role at Ellis is to address and develop the academic, social, emotional and career needs and skills of all students through classroom-based lessons, group counseling, individual counseling and family support.

As of April 13, 2020, Ellis Elementary will be transitioning to an online platform for all of your school counseling needs. The School Counselors' office hours will be as follows:

During these times the school counselors will be available via email for all of your needs. Outside of these times you are welcome to email us Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm as well
and we will respond within 2-3 hours.

Additionally, here is an important message from Prince William County Schools Office of Student Services in reference to available support during this time at the district level:

PWCS cares deeply about students’ emotional well-being during their time away from school.  If a student is in need of emotional support during this time, please feel free to send an e-mail to studentsupportservices@pwcs.edu.  A school mental health or health professional will answer and offer virtual support to students to the best of their ability.  This e-mail is not to be used for emergency situations as it will not be monitored 24 hours a day.  If a student is ever in an emergency situation he/she is encouraged to call 911 or utilize one of the resources listed below:
