Mrs. K. loves children and loves books. She especially enjoys helping children select "just right" books in the Explorers' Library at Ellis.  Reading teaches new facts, opens doors, provides entertainment, and builds empathy.   I miss you and want to read emails about what books you are reading and loving right now. Most of all I want you to know how valuable you are to me and everyone at Ellis.
Please email me klisiecd@pwcs.edu and we can write back and forth about what we're reading and encourage one another to stay strong and positive.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO PLACE YOUR LIBRARY BOOKS IN YOUR BACKPACK TO RETURN ONCE SCHOOL RE-OPENS. THANK YOU FOR BEING RESPONSIBLE AND CONSIDERATE.

BATTLE of the BOOKS
Battle of the Books is a Reading Club offered to 4th and 5th Graders.  Ten selected books are read and discussed. Twelve participants will represent the club in the Countywide Competition held in the Spring. Check out the Ellis web Page for more information about this year's titles.   The club meets Monday mornings from mid September to March.
